March 30, 2023Africause has been involved in working with women entrepreneurs (sole parents), by connecting them with relevant support to unravel the complex business environment to operate in Australia. These are women who sustained themselves in refugee camps with their entrepreneurial activities. This is the work that is done through leveraging existing local programs to minimise women’s dependency on the welfare system. The covid shutdown adversely impacted families depending on such small businesses, resulting in more demand for our service to broker support.
