How we help

Africause is a community-based organisation dedicated to empowering individuals and families through culturally responsive and holistic support services. We speak six languages fluently and deeply understand the cultural and religious needs of our diverse communities. Every day, we work hand-in-hand with newly arrived refugees, young people, families, and vulnerable individuals to build a better, safer, and more connected Victoria.

Our Mission

To empower African and refugee communities through social inclusion, education, justice, and wellbeing.

Our Vision

When my family arrived from Nigeria, everything felt overwhelming. This organization helped us find housing, enroll our children in school, and navigate services we didn't even know existed. They didn't just help us settle, they helped us feel at home in Australia.
