Africause Australia dinner celebration exemplified a harmonious convergence of multicultural communities. By bringing people together, the event aimed to honor achievements and cultivate stronger cultural connections, Africans, Vietnamese, Indian etc. Attendees experienced a vibrant tapestry of traditions, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation for the diverse backgrounds that contribute to Australia’s rich cultural landscape.
As we are in the new year and kids are settling back into school, Africause, has also commenced its Homework Club every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm at the Djerring Flemington Hub, located at 25 Mt Alexander Rd, Flemington VIC 3031. We proudly celebrated the graduation of 13 multicultural community members from the Victorian Police Academy in Glen Waverley. Among them was Mr. Ramzi Osman, whose inspiring journey from our community to becoming a police officer highlights the success of the VicPol Diverse Recruitment Initiative, founded by Africause. This initiative has been instrumental in fostering diversity
At Abysinya Restaurant, we celebrated the inspiring dedication of Mr. William Kabira, Mr. Matthew Barham, and Ms. Shumirai Njaravaza, who have tirelessly supported disadvantaged children at the Africause Homework Club in Flemington, significantly impacting their lives and futures.
